Stop Being Negative! Start Manifesting!

Wow, I was so ecstatic when I saw The Secret for the first time!  I was happily shaking with anticipation…so optimistic..ilike a scientist making an  incredible discovery! Heck, I was even doing cartwheels in my mind! Somewhere...Somehow... I just knew that--FINALLY--all of my dreams were about to become a reality!

Well, "reality" of a different stripe finally kicked in!  Reality took my breath away--and not in a good way!  Sheer optimism and strong strong dwindled into frustration!

Be honest now: How many of you started shaking your heads,  bitterly complaining::

- “Maybe this works for others, but I just can’t get it right. What‘s wrong with me?”

- “Darn it! Why can't I get it to work? What’s the secret (no pun intended)?”

- “Why am I having so much trouble with it?”

- “The entire universe is against me!”

- “Nothing is happening! I’m trying very, very hard but--zip, zero, nada--NOTHING!”

You’re not alone! About 97% of people also couldn’t make the Law of Attraction work for them the first time around either. Like anything else, you have to practice many times before you succeed. Every infant must learn to crawl before he or she can walk, right?

As you've discovered... In practice, everything is easier said and done. It‘s hard to stay positive when you‘re frustrated. And, believe me, it’s especially hard to remain positive when the world around you screams negativity like today’s pathetic economy or tragedies.

Do you know what happens when you fail to stay positive? Like a magnet, you begin to attract negative things into your life!

So how do you make the Law of Attraction work for you – without getting completely flustered and frustrated? How do you successfully implement the Law of Attraction with complete confidence?

Below are three quick tips so you will never feel frustrated, burned out, or tired of begging from the universe. Today, you can start manifesting like a pro by following these simple, yet effective ideas:

1. Allow Yourself To Receive

Just like a lost, crying child who approaches a police officer and asks, “Excuse me Sir, can you tell me how to go to the post office? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you?” Well, if the child goes on and on asking, the police officer can’t even give an answer, right?

Well, it’s the same thing with your mind. If the only thing your mind is doing is transmit, transmit, transmit, the universe — which is trying to respond — can’t give you a single thing because you’re not allowing yourself to receive!

So, have the confidence in yourself and stop exhausting yourself by running around person to person begging for riches, and then wondering why nobody is dropping a penny in your cup (Hint: It’s because you’re running away too fast for them before they can even reach for their wallets).

Just think of your desires and leave it out there, go away, and trust that your cup will be filled with gold coins (or whatever it is you asked for) when the time is right.

2. Be Patient With Yourself

Receiving takes time.

Sadly, many people give up just a couple of steps before the finish line because they’ve decided that if it’s not working by now, it’s never going to work at all. Worse still are those who throw in more and more energy because they think that with more resources, the results will come faster.

This is like expecting 9 mothers to conceive and deliver a baby in 1 month. You also can’t bake cookies in half the time by doubling the temperature. You’ll incinerate those cookies to ashes!

In simple terms: Everything in this world has a natural development time, and this fact will not change no matter what resources you throw at it.

So relax and be patient. Remember that you too, as part of the universe, are also governed by the laws of the universe, and you cannot change the natural development time.

If you remember this, you will less likely work yourself up into frustration, or worse, push yourself into a downward spiral of negativity.

3. Support and Educate Yourself

Like the child who is learning how to walk, you need support. You also need to guidance on how to do it, and also the role models to look up to.

Many people give up because they think that “The Secret” is the “be all and end all” solution. Well, it’s NOT. “The Secret” is just a small portion. It was never intended, and has never been, the whole answer.

Coming to the conclusion that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work when all you ever did to educate yourself was watch “The Secret” 19 times (without looking at changing the habits of other areas of your life) is like coming to the conclusion that exercising is not an effective way to lose weight because all you did is run on the treadmill for 2 hours a day (but you’re still stuffing yourself with fried foods and cheesecakes).

So seek and hunger for new knowledge. Also, make an effort to be amongst people or communities where you can support each other, learn from each other and also share new knowledge that you have found.

While the Law of Attraction is not an overnight delivery service, it will indeed deliver, if you do your part too!

What are Your Excuses NOT to Get A Website?

As a business consultant, I’m constantly asked why anyone in his or her right mind would invest in a website. Customers come up with all kinds of excuses not to get one, including:

I rely on word-of-mouth advertising!

They’re too expensive!

It’s too complicated!
And the funniest excuse of all…

I make enough money without a website!
Oh, really?

Word-of-mouth advertising only goes so far--usually within your network of friends, acquaintances, and past customers. How is a potential customer going to learn more about your business? Through newspapers with low readership which are shutting their doors daily? Through television and radio which require your customers to listen to them right then and there to hear your message? That’s just too much effort for the typical consumer when all they have to do is run to their computer--and check out YOUR COMPETITION.

Websites are not expensive! Let me ask you a quick, non-sarcastic question: You like to eat, right? Unless you’re anorexic, you’ll probably respond with a resounding Yes! Well…Websites cost less than a single candy bar or cup of coffee a day. You also don’t risk getting diabetes or the jitters, but you do risk getting more customers! Imagine: More Customers. That’s extra money you can take to the bank!

Websites are easy to understand! Even if you think CSS is a television show and ASP a venomous snake, websites are easy to comprehend for even the greenest of greenhorns! Quality website companies deliver a full e-commerce solution--complete with shopping cart-- if you want to sell online. Many websites come with a photo gallery, slideshow, a guestbook, an events calendar, an availability calendar, customizable templates, and around-the-clock support!

Make more money with a website! Would Donald Trump or Warren Buffett turn down the opportunity to make more money? Of course not! So, why would you? Consider websites as your most efficient salesperson--dispensing vital information about your products or services, hours of operation, and company 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week. Besides, unlike humans, websites don’t need sleep, days off, breaks, insurance, food, or vacation time! It’s your most cost-effective employee. Period.

Why You Should Promote Often with Promotional Products

Survey shows promotional products are an effective, inexpensive marketing tool. Find out why!

It may sound like a David versus Goliath story. However, small companies can deliver positive impact to their bottom line by using an effective tool enjoyed by Fortune 500 companies for less than a penny per impression.

Promotional products, also known as advertising specialties, are more effective and affordable than most media. To the newcomer, promotional products are useful items imprinted with the company name and/or logo on them. Types of promotional products include, but are not limited to, caps, pens, casual or tee shirts, automotive accessories, and mugs.

Unlike a business card, which may end up in the trash, promotional products are perceived as useful and something of value. Look around your home. Odds are if you are like most people, you have several promotional products on display: a couple of imprinted pens at your desk, that special coffee mug inside your cupboard, or that colorful magnet on the refrigerator door.

Recently, the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) conducted a landmark study showing that promotional products are less expensive per impression than most other media. In addition, the study found promotional products are very effective and affordable when compared to other forms of media.

ASI conducted a total of 3,332 in-person and online surveys, including interviews with business professionals in major metropolitian areas such as Los Angeles, New York, London, Montreal, and Sydney.A follow-up to its 2008 survey, ASI included new demographic information on politics, ethnicity, gender and age because knowing the recipient of advertising specialties is extremely important for advertisers. In addiititon, the survey included global markets and more promotional products, such as food and automotive accessories.

The survey found:

The cost per impression of a promotional product remained nearly the same in the US between 2008 and 2010, at .005 cents. Imagine the number of impressions received from an imprinted pen, which often exchanges hands at numerous times!

Tote bags have the highest number of impressions per month, over 1,000. The fact is that 36% of people with annual incomes less than $50,000 own bags. This gives the advertisers more bang for their buck.

Gender differences were prevalent in the survey: Men were more likely than women to own polo-type shirts and caps. Women, on the other hand, were more likely to have bags, writing instruments, calendars and health and safety products.

The survey also found advertiser identification very strong. In fact, 83% Americans remembering the advertiser on a promotional item they own. After all, the goal of any business offering promotional products is to be remembered. No other media delivers such a powerful impact.

Promotional products deliver positive opinions of businesses. According to the survey, 41% Americans say their opinion of the advertiser is more positive upon receiving a promotional product.

The positive impact of promotional products expands the globe. Over 63% of the survey-takers in London have received and kept a pen in the last 12 months. In the U.S. , writing instruments are used the most often, an average of 18.2 times per month.

Promotional products have incredible pass-along rates! Nearly 63% of US survey-takers give the promotional item to someone else if they don’t use it themselves. It is nearly impossible to do that with any other form of advertising!

The popularity of promotional products (advertising specialties) has never been greater! The most widely used promotional products in the U.S. are writing instruments (46%), shirts (38%) and calendars (24%).

For effectiveness, affordability, popularity, and selection, promotional products can’t be beat! Shouldn’t they become a vital part of your company’s marketing team?  Visit Here for more information on these cost-effective marketing tools!

Several Reasons to Consider a Business Website

Businesses of all sizes are holding tighter to their money now than ever before. One reason, they claim, is to wait for the economy to improve before promoting their business.

I pray this won’t offend: But, Such reasoning is impractical. Let’s be real here: Whose going to remember you when your business has closed its doors?

No time is better than now to promote your business with a strong web presence. Here’s why:

1.All Businesses—Especially Yours—Need a Strong Web Presence.

We’re no longer living in the 60s, 70s. Or the 80’s! Today’s consumers expect—often demand--a business website, usually searching the web before making a purchase—online or off.

Without a strong web presence, others have difficulty finding you. Fewer people consult phone books these days. Instead, they try to find you on the web. Will you be found?

2. No Boundaries Means Greater Revenues. The world is your marketplace. You are no longer restricted by zip or area codes. You can sell your services anywhere, thus making more money for your business.

How to Increase Your Client Base and Make More Money

In today’s struggling economy, business owners all over the globe seek new clients. Many even wonder how their competition—which is, er, other business owners--seem to have a larger client base than they do. The answer, my friends, is that these businesses are doing something other, professionals claim they are too busy to do: They are promoting themselves and their businesses—taking a greater share of the marketplace those who don't!

Marketing for business professionals isn’t rocket science, nor is it time consuming. The following helpful hints will attract more clients your way, thus delivering more revenue for your business or law firm:

1 Set yourself apart from the pack. Make sure clients know you are a unique, one-of-a-kind specialist in your field of expertise. Let them know you concentrate 100% of your efforts in providing them the best service at all times. You are not a jack-of-all-trades or a discount house, but the best business professional at any cost. Then show them. Afterwards, ask for referrals, and watch your small business or practice grow!

2. Stay in touch with your clients. While seeking new business, don’t forget your current clients. Constantly remind them how much they mean to you—through a card, letter, and or an inexpensive promotional item complete with your business card. Again, don’t forget to ask for referrals.

3. Network. Attend after hour events, breakfasts, or mid-day meetings. Join your area chamber or service organization. Volunteer in your community. Speak to various groups about your profession. Whatever you do, make sure you have plenty of business cards on hand.

4. Share. Share your expertise with all media. Offer up-to-date information to those who visit your website with your very own blog. If you don’t have a professional looking website, now is the time to invest in one.

5. Promote. Invest time and a little money by promoting the most important person in your business: you. Advertise!  Make yourself visible to future clients in directories of all kinds.
